About
I am a first-year doctoral student in rhetoric and composition at University of Louisville, in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. My main areas or interest are multiliteracies and transnational rhetoric. Woven into these two paths of study is an interest in contact zones between students from urban and rural environments as found within the first-year writing classroom. As a former ESL instructor and Peace Corps Volunteer in Romania, I am also interested in borderlands and transnational rhetoric of migrant workers and other marginalized populations, including the Roma literacy in Romania and English writing programs at borderlands institutions in Romania and Hungary.
